Rainstar padded out of her den and yawned. She looked around her territory in the pale dawn sky. The warriors would be waking soon.

Moletail padded out with Flamestripe flanking her side. She turned in different ways letting her ears pick up on sounds. "I don't think you need me Moletail." Flamestripe told her. "You may be blind, but you can see by yourself." He said. Moletail smacked him with her bald tail. She had lost her tail fur in a bear trap when she was an apprentice. "Oh shut up." Moletail walked over to Rainstar. "Morning Rainstar." She called.

Rainstar bounded down to her warriors. "Good morning. Flamestripe would you like to go on a border patrole with me?"

Flamestripe dipped his head. "Sure Rainstar." He stiffened slightly when he heard a low growl from Moletail.
Moletail turned around and started heading to the entrance. "Have fun." She called.

Rainstar padded out through the entrance and then stopped after padding for a while. "Flamestripe, we need a deputy. I was thinking you should be the deputy. What do you say?"

Flamestripe studdered. "Would I be able to match Willowclaw's loyalty? Her respect?" He asked himself. He then nodded. "Yes Rainstar. I would love to become the new Deputy."

Brawlclaw trotted up to them as they went to annouce the new deputy, "so what up, Rainy? Got the new depty in mind?"
(and yes depty isn't a typo he actaully says that."

Flamestripe looked at Brawlclaw then Rainstar. "I'm gonna go catch up with Moletail." He ran out the entrance after his blind friend.

Rainstar jumped up onto the Mistrock that lay in the river that ran through their camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather on the bank of the Mistrock for a clan meeting!"

Flamestripe grabbed Moletail's bald tail, then pulled her back to camp.

Rainstar looked around the camp. "Cats of MistClan, times have been tough but we have surrvived. We had lost our leader of many seasons, Olivestar and i have gained in his leadership." Her gaze travled around the camp. "It is now time to choose the deputy." She raised her head and stared at the sky. "I call upon my warrior ansesters, thoughe we can not see you right now, to hear and approve of my choice. Flamestripe, you will be my deputy. Uphold the code and protect it with your life."

Flamestripe padded forward and hopped up onto to Mistrock. "I promise to help protect this clan with my life. I will do what ever I can to keep you safe."
