Sweetbriar yowled in pain "The kits are coming! The kits are coming!"
Darkfox shot up and rushed in. "Don't worry," He licked her head. "I will be right here next to you the whole time."
Sweetbriar nodded then another contraction grabbed her and she yowled in pain.

Leopardstar heard Sweetbriar yowling. She came out and ran into the den. "What's going on?" She asked.

Darkfox looked at the leader. "Sweetbriar is haveing her kits." His eyes were wide with worry.

Darkfox dashed out then dashed back in holding a big stick. He handed it to her and she took it in her mouth.

Leopardstar called Watson over. "Watson! Look her over." He went to work and came back. "She's in pain. She's swelling in many places. This isn't kitting, it's some sort of infection?" He asked. Leopardstar smiled and said what she always did when they solved a pieace in the puzzle. "Elementary my dear Watson."

Sweetbriar licked the three little kits that were now gently suckling at her belly.

Watson checked her over and muttered to himself. He left quickly and headed to the Med. Cat's den to grab herbs and treat her.
